The international equivalents of a credit check (consumer credit search) are Financial Integrity checks.
These searches can confirm bad and non-payment history of candidates, gathering information from centralised banks and credit bureaus. This can include bad debt judgements, bankruptcies, personal insolvency arrangements, debt relief notices and defaults.
