Level 1 Disclosure Scotland not submitting?

So you've submitted a Level 1 Disclosure Scotland (formerly known as Basic Disclosure), but an error is shown, or no reference number is showing (example: X01234567)? 

Is the file in an Active status?

Checks will only submit when the file is in an Active status! You can check this by clicking on "Go to Project Page" from the DBS submission screen. If the file is in any status other than Active, the check won't send. Use Actions > Edit File to change the status to Active so your DISC is processed!

Is the project open? 

Checks will only submit for files within an active project - if the project is closed, the DISC won't be processed! Use the "Reopen Project" button at the bottom of the page to put this to active again. If you do not see this button, contact an Admin user within your company who will be able to do this for you.

Is the check status set to Requested?

If the check status is changed from Requested, no updates will happen on the DISC. You can set it back to requested and updates will come through. 

Is the address history stated in chronological order (most recent at the top)?

For DISC checks, the address history needs to be entered in chronological order with the most recent previous address at the top. You can use the small 'x' next to the Previous Addresses to remove them, and then click "add new address" to re-add the addresses in the correct order. We recommend copying and pasting the address information from the candidate's datascoop to ensure accuracy. Once the addresses are in the right order, this should submit through.
